
Aledrain N. De Jesus
Bio
Rain de Jesus, a Bachelor of Music in Music Theatre graduate from the University of Santo Tomas, Conservatory of Music, studied under Asst. Prof. Nenen Alfornon. She was a member of Coro Tomasino, the USTCM's official choir, mentored by Dr. Ronan Ferrer.
Rain performed in the USTCM's annual "Sampung Mga Daliri" concerts since 2008 until she graduated. Her involvement with Coro Tomasino led to more stage opportunities such as the 2017 opera "L'elisir d'amore" at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. As a freshman, she joined the USTCM's 2009 Broadway Revue. She impressively landed lead roles, portraying Christine Daea in "The Phantom of the Opera" and Cosette in "Les Miserables."
Additionally, Rain is a freelance voice actor and voice-over artist. She earned a voice acting certification in 2019 from Pocholo Gonzales and Brian Ligsay. Her voice work extends to private companies and government agencies.
In 2021, she also participated in Ms. Lea Salonga's Masterclass in collaboration with the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
Her recent theater credits include "Obet" and "Aria" in "Next in Line" and "Ms. Kaunlaran" in "Hoy! The Musical," both with Trick Creatives Productions. She also has experience being a stage manager for a few productions such as "Musikapuluan" held at the Metropolitan Theater in Manila, "Harana" held at Silliman University in Dumaguete, and a touring production of Giaccomo Puccini's, La Bohème held at the Unviersity of St. La Salle in Bacolod.
Currently, Rain is a vocal coach at Applied Music Platform by Sounds Kradle Inc. since 2021.
