
Stacey Philips Manjares
Bio
Stacey Philips Manjares graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, major in Violin with a Minor in Piano, from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Conservatory of Music, under the tutelage of Professor Melchora Regina Medina-Perez and Grace Garcia.
During her academic journey, she became a member of the UST Symphony Orchestra and served as a Santo Domingo Scholar for five years, performing regularly at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and other prestigious venues under the baton of Dr. Herminigildo Ranera, Dr. Renato Lucas, and various distinguished conductors.
Teacher Stacey was part of the UST Symphony Orchestra’s recording team for Maestro Julio Nakpil’s works, under the guidance of the current UST Conservatory of Music Dean, Dr. Sandy Iñigo Chua. She also participated in the notable collaboration between the UST Symphony Orchestra and the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Gerard Salonga, in the “Ugnayan sa Tugtugan” concert in 2018.
In 2019, she further showcased her artistry as a performer with the Noli Symphony Orchestra in “Noli the Opera,” staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
